There are many contractors around the Elizabeth City area. However, great contractors are hard to find. Five years ago we built a beautiful sunroom on our home. Twelve large windows! Large room but we always felt like we were on display especially at night. We desperately needed window coverings. In our search, we happened upon Skipper window coverings in Moyock. I’m telling you this was the greatest find we could have imagined. Zachary Skipper owns the company and came to our home to discuss our options. Using them was the best decision of our lives. Obviously, material had to be ordered and took no time to arrive. Zach
scheduled a time for the installation and Kathi and I feel our beautiful sunroom is complete! We sir out there every morning enjoying our tea and coffee. Thank you Zach for making our sunroom complete both day and night. So, if anyone is looking for window coverings Skipper is the company you want! They are the best!

We recently purchased a brand-new home and needed window coverings for 12 windows plus a sliding glass door. Our sales agent highly recommended Skipper Window Coverings, and we’re so glad they did!

Zach came to our house, took the time to explain all the different options, and brought plenty of samples and color choices. He was patient, knowledgeable, and made the whole process easy. We were kept informed throughout, and the order arrived much faster than expected.

Zach returned at our convenience to install everything perfectly. The final result looks amazing—we couldn’t be happier with the quality and appearance.

Highly recommend Zach and Skipper Window Coverings!

We needed blinds/shades for our sunroom. We found Skippers online, emailed a request and got an immediate reply and appointment.
We thought we wanted cellular shades, but Zach showed us roller shades and did a great demonstration. We also had no idea what color to get. Zach accessed the room and we went through a number of colors and finally found one. He has great knowledge on all brands of blinds/shades. We got a slider and two other windows done too!!
We had a question about the shades, quick email and he returned within a couple days and answered all our questions. Great company to do business with and Zach is very professional!!

Looking for window coverings? If you are in Elizabeth City, NC or the surrounding areas, this company is for YOU!
Mr. Zach Skipper is the owner, installer, and proprietor of this incredible gem!
I moved into a new home and wanted a local small business to install my blinds. After searching, I came upon Skipper Window Coverings and called. I immediately got a response from Zach and an appointment in a matter of days. Upon meeting him, I knew and felt his honesty, kindness, and reliability. His product was exactly what I wanted and waited for the quote which came that day. We secured the deal with half of the amount down, which, by the way, was extremely reasonable, and Zach kept me posted via text, the expectancy of the product. No guessing games as to the date of install, we were in contact with him constantly.
Zach’s pride in his work shows as you can see in the picture. He loves what he does and goes over the top to make sure you do to.
If you want fabulous blinds or rollers for your sliding glass windows RUN to call Zach. I promise that you will love the products and love the whole process of working with Zach!!

Skipper Window Coverings installed nearly 20 cordless roller shades throughout my home, and I couldn’t be more pleased with the experience. Zach was incredibly professional, tidy, and efficient from start to finish. The consultation and purchasing process was thorough, with a wide range of high-quality options to choose from. I was able to achieve the exact look I envisioned—modern, clean, and functional—while keeping everything safe for both kids and pets. Highly recommend!

We had new blinds put up in the office, and had patio solar shades installed in our sunroom. I was very impressed by the efficient installation and exceptional quality of the blinds!
